Paul Jones Davis was an American football and baseball player, coach of football, basketball, and baseball, and college athletic administrator. He served as the head football coach at Dickinson College , Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical Collegenow Oklahoma State University , North Dakota Agricultural Collegenow North Dakota State University , and the University of North Dakota , compiling a career college football record of 69576. Davis was also the head basketball coach at Oklahoma AampM , North Dakota Agricultural , and North Dakota , tallying a mark of 11244. In addition, he was the head baseball coach at Oklahoma AampM from 1909 to 1915, amassing a record of 54401.
